ODDS ON THE CLOCK
Rogue-lite deck-builder where you must remember your next hand. If you don't, timing will be a nightmare.
Survive until the countdown reaches 0 and then you will be safe... -ish

Build your deck specific to every run.
Not every card is out to kill you
Two lives. Don't mess it up.
To press the button, either
- Mouse: Click
- Keyboard: Space / Down Arrow
- Gamepad: B (XBOX) / Circle (PlayStation)
By default, click 0.12 seconds early and you're fine. Also, click 0.2 seconds late and you're fine.
Cards have a chance of appearing every click. The percentage displayed is the chance that card will appear in one button press.
Card Descriptions
| Bait | Time will appear normal until about 80%. Then, it slows down significantly. | Early | Click within the first half. The indicator will turn red when you're running out of time. |
| Faster Time | Time moves 2x faster. Timing window remains the same. | Feint Out | You must NOT click at all when active. |
| Hold | Click and hold for 1 second afterwards. Don't let go. | Quick Double | Double click within a tight time frame. |
| Random Time | Time is randomized between 2x and 0.5x. | Slower Time | Time to click is doubled, but the timing window is halved. |

Dev note: This is a submission to the GMTK Game Jam 2026. Due to a busy timetable, this game was only developed in 2 days instead of 4.

Install instructions
- Download the file for your platform.
- Extract the ZIP file.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Run the game executable.
Windows:
Run "ODDS ON THE CLOCK.exe".
Linux:
Open ".x86_64".
If needed, make the file executable with:
chmod +x .x86_64
macOS:
Open "0.1.4-macOS.app".
If macOS blocks the app, right-click it and select "Open".

Awesome concept! Very well done though consider improving the graphics before the jam is over (add some post processing!) :)
Took me a round but once I figured out how it works, mechanics were solid. Definitely feels like some cards are better than others, but that's the nature of games like these.
An overall fun game, well done.
